Local Appraisers Bring Equity Back to Real Estate

Over the past five years, a disturbing amount of real estate transactions never came to fruition even though a buyer was willing to pay the same amount the seller wanted – and the same amount that a mortgage company was willing to lend to the buyer. The problem? The appraisal. The process is improving, though, due to the recent loosening of mortgage guidelines and a return to local appraisers.
