The Business Activity of NAR Members in 2017By Amanda Riggs, Research Survey Analyst, National Association of REALTORS®  According to the National Association of REALTORS® 2017 Member Profile, the median sales volume for brokerage specialists increased to $1.9 million in 2016 from $1.8 million in 2015. The typical real estate agent had 12 transactions in 2016, up from 11 in the year prior. REALTORS® also had transactions involving a foreclosure or a short sale, 28 percent and 18 percent respectively.
