Despite Challenges, Homeownership Remains Part of the American Dream for Many

Challenges persisted to the housing market in numerous parts of the country in 2017, from tight inventories and affordability issues to credit availability and more. Despite this, purchasing a home remains attractive to many, according to the recently released Aspiring Home Buyers Profile. While optimism weakened at the end of last year, an overwhelming majority said they do want to own a home in the future
